Privacy Policy
Effective: August 13, 2026
Who we are
PropsMath (“PropsMath,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the controller of personal information processed through propsmath.com and related applications (the “Service”). Notices: PropsMath, Hendersonville, North Carolina, jeremyw0815@icloud.com.
This policy describes what we collect, why we collect it, who processes it, how long we keep it, and how you can exercise your rights. The Terms of Service govern use of the Service.
Categories we collect
- Account. Email and account identifiers collected via Clerk when you sign up or sign in.
- Age verification. We ask for date of birth to confirm you are 21 or older. We do not store the date of birth. We store only a boolean that you were verified as 21 or older and the timestamp of that verification.
- Communications. Emails and messages you send us (support, legal notices, image-credit requests).
- Billing identifiers. Stripe customer and subscription identifiers needed to charge and refund. We do not store full card numbers (PAN).
- Location signals. IP-derived country and region from our hosting provider (Vercel), used to apply the Washington State restriction described in the Terms.
- Device and server logs. Technical logs such as request metadata, timestamps, and error reports needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Product analytics. Scrubbed usage analytics via PostHog in the United States. We do not run advertising pixels.
The calibration log of published model probability estimates and resolved outcomes is not personal information. Entries are anonymous — no name or account identifiers — and they survive account deletion so the public track record stays complete, including misses.
Why we use this information
- Create and maintain your account.
- Confirm 21+ eligibility.
- Process payment, renewals, cancellation, and refunds.
- Apply geographic restrictions, including the Washington State block.
- Provide the Service: model probability estimates, research, and the track record.
- Understand how the product is used (product analytics).
- Secure the Service and investigate abuse.
- Send transactional email (receipts, security, account notices).
- Meet legal obligations and enforce the Terms.
- Keep an honest, loss-inclusive public track record of published model probability estimates.
Processors
We use the following processors to operate the Service. They process information on our instructions, not to sell it for advertising.
- Clerk. Authentication and account identity (email and account identifiers).
- Stripe. Payment processing. Stripe receives billing details; we store Stripe identifiers, not full card numbers.
- Vercel. Hosting, including IP-derived country and region headers used for the Washington State restriction, plus server logs.
- PostHog. Product analytics in the United States, configured to scrub personal identifiers from events we send.
Retention
- Account information. Kept for the life of the account, then deleted or de-identified within 30 days after deletion, except financial records.
- Financial records. Kept for 7 years after the later of the last transaction or account deletion.
- Product analytics. Kept for 12 months.
- Geo and server logs. Kept for 90 days.
- Calibration log. Kept indefinitely. It is anonymous and is the basis of the public track record.
Deletion (Stripe-first, fail-closed)
When you delete your account, we first cancel any Stripe subscription, including subscriptions in past_due or incomplete status. If that cancellation cannot complete, we will not treat the account as deleted. After a successful cancellation we delete or de-identify personal information as described above. Anonymous calibration-log entries remain.
Account data and deletion requests
You can delete your account from the account area of the Service. For a copy of your account information — profile and billing details — email jeremyw0815@icloud.com from the address on the account and we will respond by email. Analytical content — model probability estimates, market odds, and signals derived from them — is not account information and is not included.
Your rights
As a matter of policy we offer every user the ability to know what personal information we hold, correct it, delete it (subject to the retention rules above), and appeal a refusal. We offer these whether or not a particular privacy statute currently applies to us. We do not offer a data-portability download.
As of the effective date, we do not believe we meet the California CPRA thresholds that would make us a “business” under that statute. If that changes, we will update this policy. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so we do not display a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link.
Analytics and consent
We do not currently show a cookie or analytics banner for US visitors. We do not currently offer the Service in the EEA or the United Kingdom. If we do, analytics in those regions will be geo-gated behind consent.
Transactional email (receipts, security, account, and legal notices) is part of operating the Service. Marketing email, if we send it, will be optional and will include a way to unsubscribe. We do not currently operate a marketing list as a default of creating an account.
Age: 21+ and children under 13
The Service is for users 21 or older. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it. An under-21 age-gate attempt is refused and not retained.
Where information is processed
Personal information is processed in the United States, including by the processors listed above.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Breach notice
If a security breach involving personal information occurs, we will provide notice as required by North Carolina G.S. 75-65, without unreasonable delay.
We do not sell or share for ads
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date. Material changes will be noticed a reasonable time before they take effect, except where a change is required for legal compliance.
